Former Néstor Kirchner secretary Miriam Quiroga failed to appear before Federal Oral Tribunal 7 due to health issues. Her testimony is considered key to the investigation into fund-raising circuits linked to public works.
Miriam Quiroga, who lives in a small town in Córdoba, clarified that she suffers from cardiological problems and stress. Journalist Luis Gasulla confirmed the witness had not disappeared and that her health condition prevented the two consecutive court summonses.
The tribunal has not yet set a new date for her testimony. Judicial authorities are assessing whether it will be in person or via videoconference depending on the evolution of her clinical condition.
Gasulla revealed that Quiroga received a message warning of possible risks and suggesting she leave. The testimony remains mandatory under Argentine law for witnesses in criminal cases.
