Muse discusses plans for Black Holes & Revelations anniversary

Muse frontman Matt Bellamy has outlined plans to mark the 20th anniversary of the band's 2006 album Black Holes & Revelations. The record, released on July 3 2006, reached number one in the UK and sold more than five million copies worldwide. Bellamy spoke to NME about a possible re-release and special live performances.

Bellamy said the band is considering an anniversary package. He noted that management has sent multiple emails about the project and added that they might play the full album at some point.

The singer also confirmed that the track Take a Bow will be added to the setlist. It was performed as the encore on the first night of the band's 2026 tour, which began on July 2.

Muse has previously marked anniversaries of earlier albums with reissues and box sets in 2019, 2021 and 2023. Bellamy's comments come during promotion of the group's latest album The Wow! Signal.

The band is scheduled to perform in the UK and Europe this autumn, with dates including two nights at Manchester's Co-op Live on November 12 and 13.
