Pastor Lazarus Muoka, leader of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries, has urged parents to guide their children away from sinful behaviors. Speaking at a recent crusade in Lagos, he highlighted various vices as barriers to spiritual salvation. The event aimed to address the needs of attendees through divine intervention.
During a two-day crusade themed 'Hope for the Needy' at the church's headquarters in Ijesha, Lagos, from November 29 to 30, Pastor Lazarus Muoka addressed parents directly. As General Overseer of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries Worldwide, he expressed concern over influences drawing youth away from God's kingdom, potentially leading to wayward lives and unfulfilled divine purposes.
Muoka listed several contemporary sins he views as abominations before God, including drug use, theft, internet fraud known as yahoo yahoo, kidnapping, murder, prostitution, men adopting feminine hairstyles or attire, abortion, and idol worship. He warned that these practices are increasingly common and severely displease the Lord, blocking individuals from entering heaven.
'Parents make sure you speak to your children and those around them to come out of evil and stealing. Your children and wards are under you; they must come out of unrighteousness, fraud, yahoo yahoo, prostitution, abortion, killing of unborn babies, and kidnapping,' Muoka implored the audience. He added, 'You know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God, including murderers, ritualists and those involved in drugs.'
In his message titled 'Hope for the Needy, Part 1,' the pastor explained that God initiated the program specifically to fulfill the needs of all participants. This gathering underscored the church's focus on moral guidance amid rising societal challenges in Nigeria.
