Persib coach urges focus on Persijap in title-deciding match

Persib Bandung coach Bojan Hodak has asked everyone to stop discussing victory parades ahead of the match against Persijap Jepara at GBLA Stadium on Saturday May 23 2026.

Bojan Hodak made the statement during a press conference at GBLA Stadium on Friday May 22 2026. He called victory convoy talks nonsense because the team has not won anything yet.

Persib leads the Super League 2025/2026 standings with 78 points and needs just one more point to clinch the title. The match will be broadcast live on Indosiar.

West Java Police have deployed thousands of personnel to secure the match with stadium capacity limited to a maximum of 75 percent or around 32,000 spectators. PT KAI Daop 2 Bandung has also advised passengers not to wear football-related attire during train journeys on May 23 and 24 2026.
