Poetry reading activates verse play at museum

A poetry reading at the American Poetry Museum in Washington D.C. brought The Daughter Industry to life through audience participation.

The event featured a site-specific activation of the poetry collection structured in three acts with seven players. Each player was assigned a color of the rainbow and an apparition’s name, using sarong props to represent survivors of gender violence.
