Police in Örebro started searching for a missing woman on Sunday evening. The woman, aged 55-60, visited a restaurant at Norrcity on Saturday evening with an acquaintance. They parted ways after leaving, and she has not been seen since. She wore a light fleece jacket, blue/black jeans, and sports shoes at the time. She reportedly headed towards Slottet in Örebro. A police helicopter circled low over central Örebro during the night search. The main effort paused around 21:00, with patrols continuing using her description. The search resumes on Tuesday. Police are appealing for public help: “Anyone who believes they saw her after 21:00 on Saturday or has information about the woman is asked to contact police via 114 14 and request connection to the region control center in Örebro. If acute, call 112,” states the police website. Mats Öhman, police spokesperson, said: “We have nothing concrete indicating crime right now, but it cannot be ruled out.” On Monday, officers were seen searching near Slottet.
