Queens of the Stone Age announce first Icelandic show since 2005

Queens of the Stone Age have announced a one-off concert at Reykjavík’s Laugardalshöll on October 24. The show marks the band’s first performance in Iceland since 2005. Local group Virgin Orchestra will open the gig.

The band teased the news on social media on June 21 with a video that showed a search for things to do in Iceland followed by a query about their next gig there.

They confirmed the details the next day, writing: “Iceland, it’s simply been too long. HERE. WE. COME.”

Tickets go on sale June 26 at 11:00 a.m. local time. The announcement follows the band’s recent European and North American dates that included a stripped-back performance at the Parisian Catacombs in 2024.
