Registration opens for DirtDaze 2026 adventure rally

Organizers have opened registration for the 10th anniversary of the DirtDaze Adventure Rally, scheduled for August 19 to 23 at the North Haverhill, New Hampshire Fairgrounds. The northeast's largest adventure rally offers guided rides, demo bikes, skill courses and a new competition. Spots at the event have sold out quickly in past years.

The DirtDaze Adventure Rally returns to the North Haverhill Fairgrounds for five days starting August 19. Attendees can participate in guided and unguided rides, try demo bikes from tractor-trailers and tackle an obstacle course suited for riders from novice to advanced levels. World-class training sessions, including co-ed and women-led programs, round out the offerings at the popular event, which has drawn large crowds since its start a decade ago. Spots typically fill up fast, organizers note. Christian Dutcher, the event organizer, introduced a highlight for 2026: the Adventure Crown Competition. Dutcher described it as ideal for riders seeking challenges beyond group rides but short of full races. Participants earn points for clean execution across modules like slow-speed control, terrain reading, navigation, problem-solving and endurance riding. No timers pressure riders to exceed their limits, and penalties apply for errors. Classes are divided by bike displacement to ensure fairness between heavy touring machines and lightweight enduros. Facilities at the fairgrounds include tent camping with a quiet zone, RV sites offering 20- and 50-amp power, free hot showers and flush toilets. Additional portapotties will be on site. Admission prices vary by activities and camping options; full details are on the DirtDaze website.
