Samsung's latest beta for One UI 8.5, based on Android 16, features a kernel update that promises notable performance boosts. Tipster Ice Universe identified the upgrade in a CZAA build intended for Galaxy S25 testing, marking Samsung's first kernel advancement during beta phases. The revision from 6.6.77 to 6.6.98 includes over 20 incremental updates, focusing on system stability and fluidity.
