The Pittsburgh Steelers have made several roster improvements during the offseason, strengthening both offense and defense ahead of training camp.
The team acquired wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. via trade and selected Germie Bernard in the draft. These moves pair with DK Metcalf to upgrade the receiving group alongside quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
At running back, Rico Dowdle was added to replace Kenneth Gainwell, while fullback Riley Nowakowski provides additional depth. The offensive line gained top-100 draft picks Max Iheanachor and Gennings Dunker.
On defense, free agent signings include cornerback Jamel Dean, safety Jaquan Brisker and defensive lineman Sebastian Joseph-Day. The Steelers used 10 draft picks overall, their highest total since 2010, and added veterans such as linebacker Jamin Davis and tight end Robert Tonyan in June.
Analyst Alex Kozora noted the roster appears well-rounded, though questions remain about overall offensive production and performance in the AFC North.
