TNT announced that the full 15-episode first season of The Pitt will air on the basic cable network starting Monday, December 1, 2025, at 9/8c ET. Three episodes will broadcast back-to-back each Monday through December 29, 2025. Unlike typical linear TV adaptations, the show will remain uncut, retaining all elements from its original HBO Max run, including nudity during medical procedures, graphic violence such as a gruesome eye surgery, and profane language.
TNT emphasized that this approach aligns with the series' mission to depict the raw realities of emergency medicine. The network will add advisories at the start of each episode and after commercial breaks to alert viewers to the mature content.
