Head of creative Tommy Dreamer discussed his departure on Busted Open Radio, describing the role as a 24-hour job and expressing thanks to fans and the company. He said he did his best and hoped TNA would be okay. Producer Sami Callihan also left the company.
Talent departures include Tessa Blanchard, who said TNA asked her to choose between the promotion and CMLL, and Steve Maclin. Nic Nemeth noted on Busted Open Radio that morale backstage had dropped amid uncertainty, saying the past couple of months had been a little weird.
Mike Santana's TNA contract is set to expire in mid-July, with WWE reportedly interested in signing him to its main roster. Dave Meltzer speculated that Brian James, known as Road Dogg, could join TNA creative to replace Dreamer.
