Wingo led the opening of routes in the Colombian air market during the first half of 2026. Five airlines launched about 21 local and international connections.
Wingo inaugurated eight routes this year, with emphasis on Bucaramanga and Medellín. The airline connected Bucaramanga with Medellín, Cartagena, Barranquilla and Aruba on a seasonal basis.
Wingo CEO Eduardo Lombana stated: “Conectaremos a Bucaramanga con seis destinos, cinco nacionales y Aruba en operación estacional. Así avanzamos en el fortalecimiento de la conectividad regional”.
SATENA added four regional routes, while JetSMART, Avianca and LATAM launched additional connections. Between January and May 2026, 24.3 million passengers were transported, an increase of more than 7% compared to the same period in 2025.
