Alex Cimo, known online as Cimoooooooo, has died at the age of 32 following a battle with stage IV colon cancer. The Yu-Gi-Oh TCG and Master Duel creator passed away on June 3. News of his death reached the community through a statement from his mother.
Cimo was a prominent YouTube creator who covered Yu-Gi-Oh content for years. His channel featured series such as the long-running Masochist Master Duel videos, with the final episode released on March 20, 2026. He had also shared updates on his health, including a post titled Hope on December 31, 2025. The announcement came after a leaked statement from Cimo’s mother that praised his passion, positivity, and charitable donations to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation. Fellow creators Farfa, MBT, and Ruxin34 posted tribute videos in the past day. MBT recalled meeting Cimo at a PPG event and described him as both a mentor and a lifelong friend. He noted that Cimo had informed him of his declining health in March and requested privacy for his family. A planned video on Cimo’s own channel to share the news has not yet been uploaded.
