Yungblud has withdrawn from his scheduled performance at the Cowboys Music Festival in Calgary this weekend. The decision came from his management as the singer focuses on personal matters in the UK.
Yungblud issued a statement apologizing to fans in Canada. “To all my family in Canada I apologize for not being there with you all this weekend — I’m currently in a place where I’m working on myself and taking time off at home in the UK,” he said.
The performer was booked for Sunday, July 12, on his 2026 Idols World Tour. Management confirmed he is not expected to miss additional dates, with the tour resuming July 28 in Indianapolis. “We are sorry for any disappointment this may cause, these are not decisions we take lightly,” the team added.
Earlier this week Yungblud posted about facing accusations of being an industry plant and received support from fellow artists including SZA and Alyssa Milano. The festival responded with a statement sending love and support to the singer.
