बिहार के नालंदा जिले के मघरा गांव स्थित मां शीतला मंदिर में चैत्र मास के अंतिम मंगलवार को विशेष पूजा के दौरान भगदड़ मच गई, जिसमें आठ महिलाओं की मौत हो गई और आठ अन्य घायल हो गए। घटना मंगलवार सुबह हुई जब भारी भीड़ के कारण कुछ महिलाएं प्रवेश द्वार के पास गिर पड़ीं और पीछे के लोग धक्का-मुक्की करते रहे। प्रशासन ने मृतकों के परिजनों को 6 लाख रुपये की सहायता राशि की घोषणा की है।
