Pyongyang construction

North Korea has embarked on a new project to modernize its capital Pyongyang after leader Kim Jong-un pledged to turn it into a global city during last month's ruling party congress. An exhibition of construction equipment and a vehicle deployment event were held for the fifth-stage project in the Hwasong district. State media reported the developments on Wednesday.
