Guadalupe Merlos Dipietro died after being struck by a bus that mounted the sidewalk in Mar del Plata while waiting for transport with her boyfriend.
The victim, aged 18, was with her boyfriend at the time of the incident. The young man was injured and remains hospitalized in intensive care.
A friend of Guadalupe Merlos Dipietro told TN that the young woman was waiting for the bus to attend her grandfather's birthday. The acquaintance remembered her as someone with “a positive and very beautiful energy.”
