Ac/dc adds second concert in chile for 2026

Due to the quick success in ticket sales for its first show, ac/dc has announced a second concert in santiago for march 2026. The new date will be march 15 at parque estadio nacional, coinciding with the close of lollapalooza chile festival. Tickets go on sale next monday.

The australian band ac/dc, led by brian johnson and angus young, will return to chile as part of its power up tour. The first concert is scheduled for march 11, 2026, at parque estadio nacional, where ticket sales began this friday at 10:00 a.m. through ticketmaster. According to producer dg medios, tickets sold out quickly, leaving only a limited number available, prompting the addition of a second date on sunday, march 15, at the same venue.

Prices for the second show will match the original: $262.125 for pit; $207.370 for entel front field; $99.608 for santander general field; and $99.608 for reduced mobility, all including service fee. Sales start monday, november 10, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. via ticketmaster.

Notably, the second date coincides with the final day of lollapalooza chile at parque o’higgins, featuring artists like chappell roan, lewis capaldi, and skrillex.

Ac/dc has faced challenges over the past decade, including malcolm young's 2014 retirement due to senile dementia and his 2017 death, phil rudd's 2015 exit after a sentence for threats and drug possession, johnson's 2016 hearing issues leading to a temporary replacement by axl rose, and cliff williams' departure that year. Nonetheless, the band released the album power up in 2020 and restarted its tour on may 17, 2024, in gelsenkirchen, germany, with stops in europe, the united states, and australia. In 2026, they will visit latin america, including brazil, argentina, and mexico.
