Akshay Bhatia leads the 2026 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am by two strokes going into the final round on Sunday. The 24-year-old American posted strong opening rounds and maintained his position after three days of play. The Signature Event features an $20 million purse and no cut for the 80-player field.
The 2026 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, the fifth event on the PGA Tour schedule, is underway at Pebble Beach Golf Links and Spyglass Hill in Pebble Beach, California. This marks the first Signature Event of the year, with professionals competing for a $20 million purse. The tournament began on Thursday, February 12, and runs through Sunday, February 15, with the pro-am format ending after two rounds; only professionals play the weekend rounds at Pebble Beach.
After the opening two rounds, Bhatia, an Indian-origin American and two-time PGA Tour winner, shared the lead at 15-under par with scores of 65 and 64. He played bogey-free across Pebble Beach and Spyglass Hill, benefiting from soft greens and calm conditions. His second round included six birdies and an eagle on the par-5 14th hole, where he chipped in from 50 feet. Rickie Fowler carded a 64 to join Sam Burns (67) at 14-under, one shot back. Other notables included Xander Schauffele, Jordan Spieth, and defending champion Rory McIlroy remaining in contention, while world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler shot a 66 but trailed by nine strokes.
Entering the final round on Sunday, Bhatia holds a two-stroke advantage over Jake Knapp, Sepp Straka, and Collin Morikawa. The leaders tee off at 12:45 p.m. ET in the final threesome, with pairings adjusted earlier due to inclement weather. Bhatia has extended his bogey-free streak to 44 holes over his last three rounds, building on a T-3 finish at the Waste Management Phoenix Open. In 2025, he made 19 cuts in 26 starts, earning $4.8 million with four top-10 finishes, including a tied third at The Players Championship.
