Since its opening, Assembly Icehouse has hosted over 15 live music acts every Friday and Saturday night, establishing itself as a free live music spot for East Plano. JR Muñoz, a representative for the venue, stated: "After opening on October 31, 2025, we are looking to build on our opening momentum by going all out for our first New Year's Eve bash. We have hosted over 15 live music acts on our stage every Friday and Saturday night since opening, providing East Plano with a much-needed free live music establishment. For New Year's Eve, we will be hosting the band Big in Vegas featuring Ryan Ready, followed by a late night, top 40s DJ. We aim to provide a space for the community to celebrate the New Year, without the hassle of tickets or cover charges, topped off with a champagne toast at midnight."
The New Year's Eve event will run during evening hours leading up to midnight, with guests welcome to arrive early.
