Finance Minister Germán Ávila confirmed a meeting with Vice President-elect José Manuel Restrepo on July 2 at 10 a.m.
Germán Ávila, outgoing finance minister in charge of the transition, announced the meeting to continue handover work with the incoming administration.
Ávila stressed that the process will be clean and without coercion. "No vamos a aceptar ningún tipo de coacción ni falta del respeto por el gobierno. Tenemos las manos, el corazón y el alma limpia y por eso aceptamos los resultados electorales," he said.
Each ministry will direct its own transition, in line with Law 951 of 2005. Ávila called for a reasonable and respectful process.
