Barranquilla fashion week prepares for two fashion sector leaders

Colombia is preparing to host Agatha Ruiz de la Prada and Francisco López at Barranquilla Fashion Week. The event will turn the city into the epicenter of Latin American fashion with talents and new projects. The figures will engage in academic activities to strengthen ties between Latin America and Europe.

Barranquilla Fashion Week is gearing up to host two international referents in fashion, art, design, and education. They are Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, a renowned Spanish designer, and Francisco López, founder and president of Elle Education by Mindway, an academic institution with global presence.

During their stay in Barranquilla, these figures will take part in academic activities and meetings with local professionals and designers. The aim is to contribute to knowledge sharing and build ties between Latin America and Europe in the fashion sector. The event will position the capital of the Atlantic as the epicenter of the industry, drawing new projects, talents, and creativity from Latin American fashion.

The agenda for Ruiz de la Prada and López extends beyond Barranquilla. It will feature conferences, workshops, and academic spaces in Bogotá and Medellín, in partnership with national cultural entities and prestigious universities. These sessions will explore how design and innovation can add value and transform the fashion industry.

Furthermore, the academic team from Elle Education and Mindway will officially launch in Colombia the new Certificate in Business and Branding. This program, developed by Francisco López and Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, provides a comprehensive training path on positioning and creating a brand with its own identity.
