On Sunday morning, a passerby alerted the 112 Andalucía Emergency Service about a woman who appeared unconscious on a bench in an empty lot near the Guadalmedina River and the National Police station in the Palma-Palmilla district, in northern Málaga. Police and medical personnel arrived at the scene, where they confirmed the woman's death.
The first officers noted apparent signs of violence on the body, which belonged to a woman approximately 30 years old. It was later determined that she had suffered multiple stab wounds. Sources from the National Police stated that the body remains unidentified.
After activating the judicial protocol, the body was transferred to the Institute of Legal Medicine for an autopsy to clarify the cause of death. The Homicide Unit of the Málaga Provincial Police Station is leading the investigation to determine what happened.
