R&B singer Brent Faiyaz has revealed details of his third studio album, Icon, set to drop on February 13 via his ISO Supremacy imprint. The project, executive produced by Raphael Saadiq, follows his 2022 release Wasteland and marks a return after several singles and collaborations.
Brent Faiyaz, the Maryland-based R&B artist, announced his highly anticipated third studio album, Icon, on February 3, 2026. The album is scheduled for release on February 13, just before Valentine's Day, through his own label ISO Supremacy in partnership with UnitedMasters. This will be his first full-length project since 2022's Wasteland, which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and topped the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
Executive produced by Grammy-winning Raphael Saadiq—who is currently nominated for the 2026 best original song Oscar for “I Lied to You” from Sinners—Icon is already available for pre-order alongside exclusive merchandise and various physical formats. Faiyaz teased the album on Instagram with a cinematic trailer depicting everyday life in the DMV area (D.C., Maryland, Virginia). In the captions for the YouTube upload and official artwork post, he wrote the word “icon” in 17 languages, from English to Chinese. The album is expected to delve into Faiyaz's experiences balancing personal authenticity with public perception.
Since Wasteland, Faiyaz has stayed active. He launched ISO Supremacy in 2023, coinciding with the Larger Than Life mixtape, which reached No. 11 on the Billboard 200 and featured tracks like “WY@” and “Moment of Your Life” with Coco Jones. In 2024, artist Tommy Richmann, signed to ISO Supremacy, achieved a No. 2 Hot 100 hit with “Million Dollar Baby.” Faiyaz released singles in 2025, including “Peter Pan,” “Have To,” and “Tony Soprano.” He collaborated with Summer Walker on “Number One” from her album Finally Over It and appeared on A$AP Rocky's “Stay Here 4 Life” from the Billboard 200-topping Don’t Be Dumb in January 2026.
Over his career, Faiyaz has secured 15 entries on the Billboard Hot 100, such as 2016's “Crew” (No. 45, with GoldLink and Shy Glizzy), 2022's “Rolling Stone” (No. 84), and 2024's “For Me” (No. 78, with Loe Shimmy). The Icon trailer can be viewed on his social channels.
