Dagens Nyheter launches its election series where Edvin Törnblom interviews party representatives. Several party leaders have declined.
Liberal leader Simona Mohamsson is first in the series Edvin Träffar Partierna. She is interviewed by host Edvin Törnblom ahead of the autumn election. The Moderates are represented by Carl Bildt after Ulf Kristersson declined. The newspaper's deputy culture editor Åsa Beckman states that Bildt answers for the Moderates. The party has neither urged nor approved his participation according to press chief Amos Friedman. The Christian Democrats are replaced by Nike Örbrink instead of Ebba Busch. The Sweden Democrats are not participating at all after withdrawing at the last minute.
