Ambient dub producer Carmen Villain will release her new album Memoria on September 4 via Smalltown Supersound. The album follows her 2022 release Only Love From Now On.
Carmen Villain has announced the upcoming album and shared its first single, titled Entre Nosotros. The record draws its title from Apichatpong Weerasethakul’s 2021 film and takes inspiration from Pauline Oliveros’ writings on internally recalled sounds.
The tracklist includes seven songs: Labour of Imagination, Entre Nosotros, Memoria, Hope Synapses, Blue, Holding a Shape, and Omriss. Villain is also known as a clarinetist.
The announcement came through press materials distributed ahead of the September release date.
