Crown Princess Victoria celebrates her 49th birthday in traditional fashion at Solliden on Öland. The festivities include public tributes and the Victoriakonserten concert.
Victoria Ingrid Alice Désirée, Sweden’s Crown Princess and Duchess of Västergötland, turns 49. The celebration takes place in traditional style at Solliden on Öland.
After public tributes at the palace on Tuesday the Crown Princess family will travel by horse-drawn carriage through Borgholm to the Borgholm Castle ruins. There the festivities continue with the Victoriakonserten concert.
Performers at the concert include The Ark, Petra Marklund and Seinabo Sey. The host is Kristina ”Keyyo” Petrushina. This year’s Victoriapris is awarded to cross-country skier Frida Karlsson. The concert is broadcast on SVT1 starting at 18.30.
