Detroit Lions release Terrion Arnold after felony arrest

The Detroit Lions have released cornerback Terrion Arnold following his arrest on multiple felony charges. The 23-year-old was charged with four counts of kidnapping and four counts of armed robbery.

The team acted hours after a judge set Arnold's bond at $1 million on Monday. Arnold turned himself in on June 24 in connection with a February incident in Largo, Florida.

Police allege Arnold watched an assault via livestream but was not present. He faces up to life in prison if convicted.

Arnold's attorneys released a statement denying the charges and asserting his innocence. The Lions drafted Arnold 24th overall in 2024 and he started 22 games over two seasons.
