Singer Diamante has released her latest single, 'Bite of the Beast', described as a cinematic rock anthem exploring themes of romantic obsession. The track draws inspiration from dark romance novels and portrays an all-consuming infatuation. Diamante is set to perform it live on upcoming tours and festivals.
Diamante, known for her 80s-inspired glamour and powerful vocals, unveiled 'Bite of the Beast' on March 9, 2026. The song delves into the addictive and self-destructive nature of romantic obsession, set in a twisted fairytale world. Explaining her inspiration, Diamante stated: “ ‘Bite of the Beast’ was inspired by the dark romance novels I’ve been reading and the song is set in a twisted fairytale world. It’s about a kind of all-consuming infatuation that changes you forever — the kind where, once it’s over, nothing else can ever compare. I wanted the song to feel visceral and dangerous, like falling under a spell you know will ruin you. It’s the kind of heartbreak that you don’t want cured.”
This release follows Diamante's appearance as a Stowaway performer at ShipRocked 2026. Fans can catch her live on the 'Spin The Wheel US Tour' with labelmates I See Stars, alongside special guests Mothica and Until I Wake. She is also scheduled for Louder Than Life 2026 on September 19.
Diamante first gained attention with her 2018 debut album 'Coming In Hot'. Her 2020 sophomore effort, 'American Dream', featured a cover of Goo Goo Dolls' 'Iris' with Ben Burnley of Breaking Benjamin. She has shared stages with acts like Nita Strauss, Shinedown, The Pretty Reckless, Breaking Benjamin, and Three Days Grace, and performed at festivals including Sonic Temple, Louder Than Life, and Welcome To Rockville.
Now signed to Sumerian Records, Diamante recently put out '1987' and 'All For The Glory'. She contributed a version of Pat Benatar's 'Love Is A Battlefield' to the American Psycho Comic Series Soundtrack and joined Kittie and The Pretty Wild for a cover of Metallica's 'The Unforgiven' on the Queen Of The Ring Soundtrack. Her work continues to blend empowering anthems with a rebellious edge.
