Disney plans early ticket sales for Avengers: Doomsday

Disney is set to open domestic ticket sales for Avengers: Doomsday on July 20. The move targets premium Infinity Vision screens five months ahead of the film's release.

The studio will announce the sales for select large-format theaters. This includes a runtime of 165 minutes for the movie.

Disney created the Infinity Vision brand after Warner Bros. secured IMAX screens for Dune Part III during the two films' Dec. 18 releases.

The early sales plan extends to a re-release of Avengers: Endgame. It will screen in Infinity Vision formats starting Sept. 25 under the title Avengers: Endgame Encore.
