El Dorado to renew bus fleet with electric vehicles for sustainability

Bogotá's El Dorado International Airport announced it will renew its bus fleet with 100% electric vehicles. The move aims to strengthen sustainable mobility in its operations.

El Dorado issued a statement announcing the addition of electric buses. These vehicles will replace part of the current fleet on the satellite route service connecting terminals 1, 2 and the cargo area.

The transportation service runs daily from 4:00 a.m. to midnight at no cost to users. Frequencies vary around 15 minutes to ease transfers for passengers, companions and airport staff.

"The incorporation of these new electric vehicles improves the user experience thanks to routes that are more friendly to the environment", the terminal said in its statement. El Dorado noted it continues its modernization process to serve the millions of passengers who use the facility.
