A woman in her 80s was seriously injured when three cars collided head-on at Kvidinge on Tuesday afternoon.
The accident occurred shortly after 5 p.m. on road 21 at Kvidinge outside Helsingborg. According to police it involved a head-on collision between three vehicles.
Three people were taken by ambulance to hospital. Region Skåne states the woman in her 80s is seriously injured while a man in his 60s and a two-year-old boy have minor injuries.
Police will investigate the incident for carelessness in traffic and causing bodily injury. It remains unclear how the collision occurred. All involved parties are being interviewed.
The road was fully closed after the crash but has now reopened.
