Elias Ewertzh extends contract with Visby Roma

Defenseman Elias Ewertzh has signed a new deal to remain with Visby Roma and join the club in HockeyAllsvenskan next season.

The 23-year-old joined the team ahead of the previous campaign and recorded 14 points in 36 games. He quickly became a key contributor in both defensive and offensive zones.

Sportchef André Lundholm praised the player's development. "Elias made a fantastic first season with us and quickly became one of our most important players," Lundholm said. "He delivered solid defensive work while improving his offensive game throughout the season."

Lundholm added that the club expects further progress. "We are convinced he has more development in him and look forward to following Elias in HockeyAllsvenskan," he stated.

Ewertzh will make his debut in the league with the promoted side.
