Farm Fresh bolstered its roster by selecting Jonna Perdido and Ela Raagas ahead of the new Premier Volleyball League season.
Perdido emerged as the sixth overall pick and reunited with former University of Santo Tomas coach Kungfu Reyes. She said she was happy to work again with the coach she had been with for three or four years. Raagas was selected in the second round after waiting nervously. She had played under Reyes in high school and expressed excitement about playing with veteran players. Before the draft Strong Group Athletics pledged its first- and second-round picks to the Alas Pilipinas program. Perdido also promised to give her best whether playing in the PVL or for the national team.
