A 41-year-old man died in an accident in the Bodenseekreis district. Two other people were seriously injured.
On Saturday a serious traffic accident occurred on federal highway B31 near Langenargen. A 64-year-old driver veered onto the oncoming lane for reasons still unknown and collided head-on with a transporter van.
The 41-year-old driver of the transporter was trapped and died at the scene. The 64-year-old himself also suffered serious injuries.
A motorcyclist who tried to avoid the collision crashed and sustained serious injuries, though his life was not in danger. The B31 remained closed for several hours.
