MONTREAL – After being recalled from the Laval Rocket on Friday evening, Florian Xhekaj joined his older brother Arber and the rest of the Montreal Canadiens for morning skate at the Bell Centre on Saturday.
Xhekaj, making his first official appearance with the Habs, lined up on a line with Jake Evans and Josh Anderson. The session preceded the Canadiens' showdown with the Toronto Maple Leafs, scheduled for 7:00 p.m. ET.
Jakub Dobes is slated to start in net for Montreal. The game will take place at the Bell Centre.
