Hallmark Media has announced its 2026 slate of original movies and series, starting with romantic comedies in January. The lineup features stars like Lacey Chabert and returning favorites such as When Calls the Heart. Additional projects will roll out throughout the year on Hallmark Channel and Hallmark+.
Hallmark Media revealed its 2026 programming in December 2025, launching with the "Winter Escape" collection of five romantic comedies airing from January. The first film, Lost in Paradise, premieres on January 3 at 8 p.m. ET, starring Lacey Chabert as a fashion company founder marooned on an island with a chef played by Ian Harding. Filmed in Fiji, Chabert shared her excitement on Instagram: "This movie is truly an adventure filled with comedy and even a little romance 😉 I hope you’ll tune in!" for the January 3 release.
On January 4, season 13 of When Calls the Heart returns to Hope Valley at 8 p.m. ET, with Erin Krakow reprising her role as Elizabeth Thornton. Krakow told Us Weekly: "There’s no shortage of love and romance," hinting at romantic developments between her character and Mountie Nathan Grant, portrayed by Kevin McGarry. The series, inspired by Janette Oke’s books, follows Thornton navigating life in the Canadian West town.
The January lineup continues with A Melbourne Match on January 10, featuring Mallory Jansen and Ryan Corr in a story of a travel writer discovering more than work in Australia. Love on the Amazon airs January 17, with Jaicy Elliot and Rafael de la Fuente on a mission along the river. Caught by Love, starring Rachael Leigh Cook and Luke Macfarlane, follows on January 24, involving a jewel theft investigation turning romantic. Missing the Boat closes the month on January 31, with Emilie Ullerup and Kristoffer Polaha racing across Italy after a cruise mishap.
Hallmark+ kicks off with Second Chance at Love season 1 on January 1, hosted by Matthew Lawrence and Chilli, where singles reunite with past loves on a trip.
February's "Loveuary" brings four more films: The Way to You on February 7 with Kim Matula and Aaron O’Connell searching for connections in New York; Because of Cupid on February 14, starring Amy Groening and Evan Roderick in a Valentine's mishap; The Stars Between Us on February 21, reuniting Sarah Drew and Matt Long during an eclipse; and Romance at Hope Ranch on February 28, with Alison Sweeney and Gabriel Hogan reviving a New Mexico tradition.
