"The bullet entered through an outer wall and between two cabinets," Österling says. Police launched an operation and reviewed the victim's history to check for any potential threats against him.
The explanation emerged when the resident mentioned seeing hunters nearby. "In the end, they identified who it was. This person aimed at a deer and didn't consider what was behind the deer, missed, and the bullet went into the house," Österling explains.
The bullet has been seized by police. The shooter is suspected of endangering others, but no injuries were reported. The event highlights the risks of hunting near built-up areas, even if it was an accident.
