Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) erupts in anger at Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) for considering an alliance with Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), who are plotting a takeover of Newman Enterprises using controversial AI technology.
The conflict stems from Billy's secret meeting with Cane, where he contemplates handing over Chancellor Industries in exchange for control of Newman. Billy remains bitter over his mother Jill Abbott's (Jess Walton) sale of Chancellor to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
