Justin Bieber has been added to the lineup for the first-ever FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show, scheduled for July 19 at New York New Jersey Stadium.

The pop star will perform alongside Madonna, Shakira and BTS as co-headliners. Additional acts include Burna Boy, Gustavo Dudamel, PS22 Chorus featuring Coldplay, and appearances by Muppets from Sesame Street.

The 11-minute show is being produced by Global Citizen in partnership with Live Nation and Done + Dusted. It is curated by Coldplay’s Chris Martin and will support the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which aims to raise $100 million for children’s education and football access worldwide.

Bieber said in a statement: “The FIFA World Cup brings the world together in a way nothing else can. I’m grateful to be part of this Halftime Show.” FIFA President Gianni Infantino and Global Citizen CEO Hugh Evans also issued statements highlighting the event’s focus on unity and education.
