Kapareskolan in Onsala is closed on Monday after a threat posted on social media over the weekend. Göteborgs-Posten was first to report the incident. A message was sent via the V-klass learning platform to staff, students, and parents on Sunday evening.
The message states: ”We take this seriously and have decided to act on a precautionary principle and keep the school closed tomorrow Monday.” Stigert Pettersson, administration chief for preschool and primary school in Kungsbacka municipality, confirms the threat to GP. ”As I understand it, it is a threat to bomb the school on Monday,” he says.
Police contacted the school over the weekend upon learning of the threat and have initiated a preliminary investigation into unlawful threat. The school is preparing teaching via Teams, will remain locked, and staff will meet students and parents outside if they missed the information.
