The league paused after Thursday night's games. The Lions hold a 51-32-2 record for a .614 winning percentage, while the Twins sit at 52-33-0 with a .612 mark.
The Twins lost the top spot after dropping two of three to the Lions in their midweek series. Both clubs were preseason favorites.
The KBO drew a record 7,633,775 fans through 424 games before the break. The prior mark was 7,580,228 in 2025.
LG Twins first baseman Austin Dean and Kia Tigers infielder Kim Do-yeong are tied with 27 home runs. Doosan Bears sophomore Choi Min-seok leads pitchers with a 2.33 ERA.
