Singer Carlos La Mona Jiménez visited the Argentina national team camp and shared a moment with Lionel Messi last Saturday.
Jiménez, 75, performed a private show and spoke with the captain. “I really wanted to meet you. This year I turn 76”, the musician said. Messi replied: “You are a phenomenon, a great one”.
The meeting took place before the match against Algeria in Kansas City. Jiménez shared the video on Friday from Dallas, where he travels to support the team.
The singer also received a signed jersey from Julián Álvarez and spent time with other players such as Nahuel Molina and Lisandro Martínez during a barbecue.
