Leak suggests LEGO PlayStation console set for 2026

A recent leak indicates that LEGO may release a set modeled after the original 1995 PlayStation console as early as December 2026. The set would include the console and a controller. This follows LEGO's previous video game-themed products.

On March 10, 2026, Instagram user lego_minecraft_goat shared details of an alleged upcoming LEGO set based on the original PlayStation console from 1995. According to the leak, reported by GameRant on March 11, the set would feature at least the console itself and an accompanying controller, with a potential release in December 2026.

LEGO has previously ventured into video game nostalgia with detailed sets. In August 2020, it launched a 2,646-piece Nintendo Entertainment System set for ages 18 and up. This included the 1985 console, its controller, a Super Mario Bros. cartridge, and a mini TV displaying the platformer. In 2022, LEGO released a 2,532-piece Atari 2600 set. Shortly after, a 2,651-piece LEGO Pac-Man Arcade set followed. More recent offerings include a Sega Genesis controller and a LEGO Game Boy.

The company is also planning LEGO Pokemon sets for 2026, with at least one expected to include minifigures. This potential PlayStation set would continue LEGO's trend of recreating iconic gaming hardware in brick form.
