Linnea Nyström creates royal crowns from scrap cardboard

Linnea Nyström builds tiaras and crowns from frozen pizza cardboard in the evenings. Her works are now on display at a museum in Uppsala.

Linnea Nyström spends her free time creating detailed crowns and tiaras from recycled materials such as frozen pizza cardboard. Her interest began during her time at Stockholm Castle where she became hooked on the royal environment.

She devotes roughly two hours each evening to the craft after commuting and cooking. The pieces have been exhibited at Uppsala Castle historical museum where they have brought joy to visitors.

Linnea receives tips from friends who build models of tanks planes and houses. She knows of no one else doing exactly this and finds it fun to be unique while hoping more people will try.

– I love both history and crafting so this fits perfectly says Linnea Nyström. It is great fun to see how the tiaras bring joy to other people once they are finished.
