Insomniac Games released a surprise story trailer for Marvel's Wolverine on July 16. The footage introduces Lady Deathstrike as a major antagonist and highlights Logan's internal struggles.
The trailer, titled “Ain’t No Hero,” depicts Wolverine facing repeated defeats against enemies, including red ninjas led by Lady Deathstrike. It ties into the game's plot where Logan and allies rescue mutants from mercenary Reavers.
Lady Deathstrike appears as a cyborg with adamantium grafted to her skeleton and claw-like fingers. Her backstory links to the scientist who bonded adamantium to Wolverine, though the game offers its own version of events.
Marvel's Wolverine launches September 15 on PlayStation 5 with a disc edition available. The title remains an exclusive to the console.
