Former first lady Michelle Bolsonaro shared an old video of Ciro Gomes criticizing ex-president Jair Bolsonaro. In the caption, she questioned right-wing support for the Ceará politician. The post was made on Monday (4/5).
Michelle Bolsonaro (PL) used social media on Monday (4/5) to share an old video of pre-candidate Ciro Gomes (PSDB), in which he directly attacks Jair Bolsonaro (PL).
In the caption, she wrote: “E ainda há pessoas da ‘direita’ apoiando esse indivíduo” (And there are still 'right-wing' people supporting this individual). In the video, Ciro Gomes criticizes Bolsonaro's intellectual capacity, stating that understanding him requires “entender a psicologia de um homem quase doente” (understanding the psychology of a nearly sick man). He also mentions Bolsonaro's alleged conflicts with military hierarchy in the Brazilian Army, creating a “sentimento de ressentimento contra oficiais de alta patente e contra pessoas com formação intelectual” (feeling of resentment against high-ranking officers and people with intellectual training).
Ciro used offensive terms, saying “ele é quase um burro, quase um jumento. Um cara imbecil mesmo” (he is almost a donkey, almost a jackass. A real imbecile) when questioning Bolsonaro's “anti-intellectual hatred”.
This is not the first time. In December last year, Michelle shared other Ciro videos calling Bolsonaro “picareta do mais baixo clero” (quack from the lowest clergy) and accusing Senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) of involvement in “rachadinha” schemes. The online feud started after Ciro's negotiations with PL members in Ceará for support in a state gubernatorial candidacy, which Michelle opposed from the outset.
