The 19 candidates for Miss Neiva 2026 took part in the artisanal parade and folkloric presentation at the Casino de Oficiales del Batallón Tenerife.
The event took place as part of the Festival del Bambuco en San Juan y San Pedro. Participants displayed costumes inspired by Neiva culture and traditions and performed folk dances.
The election of the new titleholder is scheduled for Monday, June 22. The performance of the Sanjuanero Huilense will account for 70 percent of the total score.
Other criteria include the folkloric presentation at 10 percent, the jury interview at 10 percent, popularity at 5 percent and punctuality at 5 percent. The competition continued with the Desfile Nocturno scheduled for 6 p.m. on June 19.
