Arizona, now 20-0 overall and 7-0 in the Big 12, controlled the game against West Virginia (13-7, 4-3 Big 12) on January 24, 2026, in Tucson. The Wildcats shot 52.5% from the field, made 10 three-pointers, and committed only five turnovers while holding the Mountaineers to 22-of-64 shooting and just three made free throws.
Freshman Brayden Burries led Arizona with 22 points, seven assists, and zero turnovers, attacking the paint and finishing in transition. Koa Peat added 17 points, Anthony Dell'Orso contributed 12, and Motiejus Krivas recorded 11 points and 12 rebounds—his fifth double-double of the season. Jaden Bradley chipped in eight points, four assists, and three steals, helping Arizona force 10 steals and six blocks overall.
The Wildcats built a 43-23 halftime lead after Dwayne Aristode's fastbreak layup at the buzzer. They outrebounded West Virginia 43-30, scored 23 points off the bench, and added 17 fast-break points. Arizona extended the margin to 35 points in the second half, never allowing a West Virginia response before a sold-out crowd.
